Conflict II

All that is left of me...

Based on 'conflict' again but i'm still trying to figure out what sort of 'conflict' it exactly means, like i know what i wanted to explain, but i'm not sure if the picture speaks it out :/
Oh and apart from the black part, I havent used the paint brush at all!!!
Love!

12 cows believe I'm awesome. Do you?:

i'd say it's got stuff to do with either the dowry or the child marriage issue.. something to do with marriage...
.
.
and.. this is definitely better than the previous one... specially because of the use of the colours... like... the way you get the high contrast between the red and green.. that totally blasts out highlight.. while the blue calms it down and shows how the issue isn't one that's totally in-your-face like terrorism.. which is kind of reinforced by the calm look on the face...
.
.i like... :)... this is naice... seriously....
.
.
.
how did you do it if not a brush??
.
.
and.. i love the blue... like...the overall thing.. and the little parts in it..... it's just rad..... blue is the best thing that happened to this painting..

okay.. I will try and express what this speaks to me... Conflict about the decision to get married.. apprehensions related to leading a happy married life.. and today this lady probably happy or sad (shut eyes could mean satisfaction and frustration) and she is going back to that moment when it all started.. and the same or similar conflict dwells in her mind again. Ugh.. I hope I am somewhat close.

Beautiful.
Just stumbled across your blog...so, you're an artist. And a sensible one at that..

The use of colors has been so liberal..For me, this painting reflects apprehensions related to marriage.
She is newly married in green..a vivacious and lively color with red which is the color of a traditional Indian marriage. While sleeping ..her dreams are what is being mainly shown. Her side=profile giving us a glimpse of the sindoor which indicates her marital satus.
What I thought when I saw the feet in between the blue without the legs...was of independence...Without support, how the feet stands amongst it all. Her dream to be independent...
That's what I thought of it...

Oh, did I mention that I just adore your blog?
:D
It made me think..thank you, for imparting your art to us.
To creativity,
Remya :D

chere amour!!

wen i interpret the picture...

it signifies a fulfillment in a womans life. a nirana-ish feeling that comes with imperfection. that shes going strong despite the dark lurkiness. shes drowning in the unstable waters really deep but at the same time shes flying in the clear blue sky. its so complicated to understand a woman. but its simple...she;l sacrifise a billion cheers for you only because YOUR HAPPINESS LIES IN HERS
